There are varieties of materials you can use to stuff pillows.
 
Recycled materials
Stuffing can be made using scraps of fabric, yarn or other textile waste.
Cut the fabric waste into small pieces, (some pillow maker prefer carding these fabric pieces), Pillow stuffed with recycled stuffing will be less fluffy than one filled with other materials
 
Microbeads
Microbeads pillow cushions are popular in recent years. It makes pillow soft, squishy. When microbeads are used in stretchy fabrics of pillow cushion cases, it has unique texture.
 
Foam
Foam fillings can be cut to the exact dimensions you need with electric knife of cutting machine.
Foam also available in shredded foam. It can be used to fill unusual shapes or large pieces, like beanbags.
Foam is one of the more expensive filling options; also keep its shape longest and most support.
 
Polyester fiber
Polyester fiberfill is the least expensive and most common.
It is the lightest, airiest option, and ideal for pillows and stuffed animals.
 
Down feather
Goose down or a combination of down and feather is popular pillow fillings.
They are very soft and fluffy, also it is very expensive fillings than others.
